Quest Title:

The Break of Dawn

Start:

Finding of Meridia’s Beacon while searching for the Jagged Crown

Opening:

When touching Meridia’s Beacon, the party heard Meridia’s voice, “A new hand touches the beacon. Listen. Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple. A darkness that you will destroy. Return my beacon to Mount Kilkreath. And I will make you the instrument of my cleansing light.”

Step Two:

Upon going to Meridia’s statue with the beacon, she will tells the party about her temple’s condition: “Look at my temple, lying in ruins. So much for the constancy of mortals, their crafts and their hearts. If they love me not, how can my love reach them? Listen. Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple. A darkness that you will destroy. But first, you must restore to me my beacon. I shall guide you unto it. Find it and return here. And great shall be your reward. Now place the beacon upon my shrine.” When placing the beacon upon the shrine, the party is flown upward 300+ feet to gaze upon Meridia herself which appears as a beautiful ball of white energy. She will then speak. “The Necromancer Malkoran defiles my shrine with vile corruptions, trapping lost souls left in the wake of this war to do his bidding. Worse still, he uses the power stored within my own token to fuel his foul deeds. I have brought you here, mortal, to be my champion. You will enter my temple, retrieve my artifact, and destroy the defiler. Guide my light through the temple to open the inner sanctum and destroy the defiler.” The party is then placed back upon the shrine above the entry way into it. Where they now may enter the shrine and destroy the foul necromancer.

Step Three:

Party enters and defeats Necromancer and retrieves Dawnbreaker…
